Gulu City is blessed with three Hospitals: St Mary’s Hospital Lacor, Gulu Regional Referral Hospital and Gulu Independent Hospital. These hospitals provide major surgeries and treatments of different kinds to the people in the region including the neighbouring countries. The city also has a cancer Institute built to serve cancer related patients.
